Are you traveling to a certain destination and have a layover in Dubai? It can be for a day or even if it’s just for 6 hours. Don’t waste it sitting at the airport or your hotel room. Dubai has so much to offer. It is known for its spectacular sights, glamorous city, and best-tasting dishes. Let’s say you will be in Dubai for a business meeting and have a short time to explore the city. Here are some tips to make the most of it:
Balloon ride Best if you will do this early morning. This is a great experience if you want to watch the sunrise break over the city. You will be flying with a pilot in your balloon at 4,000 feet above the ground. After watching over the city, you will be picked up to enjoy a gourmet breakfast. Allot at least 3 hours for this incredible experience, and expect to be back at your hotel before 9 A.M. The famous Burj Al Arab Burj Al Arab is treated like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. For sure, you have seen many tourists posting their tours in Burj Al Arab. This elegant architecture has become Dubai’s symbol. It’s one of the tallest hotels in the world, but it’s a struggle to even book a single room here. Nevertheless, you still shouldn’t miss it for a snap. The Souks of Dubai If you have extra hours to go further from your hotel room, grab the metro and explore the Spice and Gold Souks of Dubai. This will be your magical place if you love gold, silk, herbs, and spices. Check out Burj Khalifa Another skyscraper to visit is the Burj Khalifa. If you like sights from above, then this is an experience you shouldn’t miss. Enjoy the view from the 148th floor’s observation deck for AED 300. Watch the Dubai Fountains Just in front of Burj Khalifa, you can witness the world’s largest dancing fountains on Burj Lake. Every 30 minutes, they play a different song and choreographed fountains. Experience the Yacht Cruise This has to be booked in advance as they don’t accept walk-ins. Sail by the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Islands, and Palm Atlantis in a yacht for 2 hours along Dubai’s shores. Just search for the Dubai Marina to see if it’s accessible from your hotel. Usually, the fastest way to get there is via the Metro line. What are the best dishes to try?
