Water Park Ticket Prices in Dubai: What You’ll Pay

Family checking admission at a Dubai water park

A full day at a Dubai water park costs roughly 200 to 330 AED per adult at the gate, and less when you book online or qualify for a resident rate. Wild Wadi, Dreamland and LEGOLAND Water Park all publish figures you can check, and Aquaventure sets its price by date. Below you will find what each park charges, why two people in the same queue can pay different amounts, and how to avoid overpaying.

TL;DR

  • Dreamland Aqua Park lists 200 AED at the gate for guests above 120 cm, but online offers have gone far below that.
  • LEGOLAND Water Park starts from 330 AED, and booking ahead saves 10%. Children under 3 enter free.
  • Aquaventure changes its price with the season, so check the live price for your date before you decide.
  • Height decides most child prices, and almost every ticket is non-refundable, so measure and check the forecast first.

Sources for each row appear in the park sections below. If you want to compare current options side by side, our Dubai waterparks comparison lists them in one place.

Wild Wadi: prices and the resident discount

Wild Wadi sits beside the Burj Al Arab and suits families who want a compact park with strong rides. According to the park’s own website, all-day access starts from 269 AED for adults above 1.1 m and from 220 AED for children below 1.1 m.

The same page shows a resident rate: UAE resident tickets for adults start from 179 AED. That is a saving of 90 AED against the standard adult starting price, which adds up quickly for a family. Wild Wadi also advertises a Monday offer for UAE resident VISA cardholders.

Tourists cannot use the resident price, but you can still book ahead. Our Wild Wadi Waterpark tickets page shows current options, and the Aquaventure vs Wild Wadi guide helps if you are deciding between the two.

Dreamland Aqua Park: the budget option

Dreamland, in Umm Al Quwain, is the cheapest of the big parks and the one where the gate price and the online price differ most. The official admission page lists 200 AED for guests above 120 cm and 150 AED for those between 120 cm and 80 cm.

Dreamland Aqua Park: the budget option — overview diagram

The park’s online booking page has shown full-day offers of 99 AED for adults and 79 AED for children, which is about half the gate price. Those offers carry end dates and get replaced, so look at the live page rather than relying on a number you saw in a blog.

Two other facts matter:

  • Seniors above 65 enter free with a valid Emirates ID or other proof of age.
  • An annual membership costs 735 AED including VAT for guests above 120 cm. It pays for itself in fewer than four visits at the gate rate, which makes sense only if you live nearby.

Dreamland also says admission rates and operating schedules can change without prior notice, and it treats its official rates as the base for third-party discounts. Dreamland tickets are non-refundable, even when a ride closes for technical failure or weather.

LEGOLAND Water Park: a young-kids park with free entry for toddlers

LEGOLAND Water Park is built for children, with gentle slides and a wave pool at a scale smaller kids can handle. LEGOLAND Dubai lists tickets from 330 AED per person, and booking in advance saves 10%. Children under 3 get free entry.

If you also want the theme park, the one-day combo ticket covers both parks. LEGOLAND lists it at 395 AED, and it drops to 355 AED when booked online one day ahead. That is a better deal than buying two separate tickets, as long as your kids have the energy for both.

See our LEGOLAND Water Park tickets for options, or the LEGOLAND Dubai theme park page if you are weighing the rides against the slides.

Aquaventure: what a day pass costs and what to check

Aquaventure at Atlantis The Palm is the largest of the group and the most variable in price. Its tickets bought at the gate depend on the season, and online prices change by date, so any single figure printed in an article goes stale. Check the live price for your travel day on our Aquaventure Waterpark tickets page.

What the official terms tell you before you buy:

  • Ticket sales are final and 100% non-refundable.
  • Atlantis resort guests get complimentary waterpark admission for every night of their stay.
  • Life jackets are available around the park and are required for swimmers under 1.2 m (48 inches). Children under that height must be supervised by a responsible adult.
  • Access to some rides depends on height, weight and swimming ability.

If you are staying at Atlantis, you do not need a ticket at all. If you are staying elsewhere, a day pass is the main cost of the trip, so book for a weekday if your schedule allows.

Why two visitors pay different prices

The headline number is rarely the number on your receipt. Six things move it.

Height and age

Most Dubai parks price children by height, not birthday. Wild Wadi draws its line at 1.1 m, Dreamland at 120 cm with a second tier down to 80 cm, and Aquaventure’s life jacket rule sits at 1.2 m. Measure your child before you book, because a few centimeters can change the category. Under-3s are free at LEGOLAND, and Dreamland lets seniors above 65 in free.

Residency

Residents get lower rates at some parks, and you may need an Emirates ID at the gate. Wild Wadi’s resident price starts 90 AED below the standard adult price. Tourists should not buy a resident ticket, since you can be turned away at entry.

Season and day of the week

Aquaventure’s gate price follows the season, and weekends and school holidays are the busiest days. Summer is hot enough that many visitors prefer cooler months, and October to April tends to give the most comfortable days outside, but check each park’s own opening calendar since some close sections for maintenance.

Online versus the gate

Buying ahead is almost always cheaper or equal. LEGOLAND takes 10% off for advance booking, and Dreamland’s online offers have run well below its gate rates. The gate is the one place you cannot count on a discount, and you risk queues on top.

Bundles

Combo tickets, such as LEGOLAND’s park and water park pass, lower the price per attraction. Only buy one if you will actually use both parks in the same day.

Refund terms

Aquaventure and Dreamland both state their tickets are non-refundable, so a rainy forecast or a sick child can cost you the full price. Choose a date with flexibility in mind, and read the terms at checkout.

Free birthday entry: what to expect

Many readers ask which parks let you in free on your birthday. We found no standard free birthday ticket at the parks whose prices are listed above. What exists is a resort package: Atlantis The Palm promotes birthday celebrations that include free waterpark access, but as part of a stay at the resort, not for walk-in visitors. Ask the park directly, with your ID, before you plan a trip around a birthday offer.

A sample budget for a family of four

Here is how the published figures play out for two adults and two children. These are starting prices, so your total will differ with date and age categories.

  • Wild Wadi, standard rates: 2 x 269 AED plus 2 x 220 AED comes to 978 AED. A resident family would pay less on the adult tickets.
  • Dreamland, gate rates: 2 x 200 AED plus 2 x 150 AED comes to 700 AED. Online offers can lower this a lot.
  • LEGOLAND Water Park: 4 x 330 AED comes to 1,320 AED before the 10% advance discount. With it, the total falls to 1,188 AED, and one child under 3 would cut it further.

The pattern is clear: the cheapest park per head is Dreamland, the most child-friendly is LEGOLAND, and Wild Wadi sits in the middle with the strongest rides for its size. Add food, lockers and transport before you decide, because those can add up to a notable share of the day’s cost.

Our perspective: compare before you book

We run a ticket comparison site, and the most common mistake we see is that visitors compare a price from one park’s website to an old figure from a blog. Prices at water parks move with the season, the day and the offer, so a number from last year tells you very little. We also see people pick the cheapest ticket and then find that the child is in the wrong height band, or that the ticket cannot be refunded after a weather change.

Our advice is simple. Pick the park by who is coming: toddlers, school-age children, teenagers or adults who want big drops. Then compare the live ticket prices for your exact date, and keep a spare day in the plan. Our listings are affiliate links, and we say so openly. If you want to know how we assess options, read our review methodology.

Tips for paying less

  1. Book online, not at the gate. Advance discounts and online offers are the biggest saving available to tourists.
  2. Check the height bands first. A child at the border can move a ticket up or down a tier.
  3. Skip tickets if you stay at Atlantis. Resort guests get Aquaventure admission for every night of their stay.
  4. Use resident rates only if you are a resident. Bring your Emirates ID.
  5. Read the refund terms. Most tickets are final, so choose your date with care.
  6. Consider a combo. Park and water park bundles save money only if you use both.
  7. Go on a weekday if you can. Quieter days mean shorter queues for the same money.

FAQ

How much does a ticket to a Dubai water park cost?

Adult prices usually run from about 200 AED at Dreamland’s gate to 269 AED at Wild Wadi and 330 AED at LEGOLAND Water Park. Children pay less at most parks, based on height. Aquaventure’s price depends on the date, so check the live price before you book.

How much is a day pass at Aquaventure?

The price changes with the season and the day, and the official site sets it by date. Check the live price on our Aquaventure tickets page for your visit. Tickets are non-refundable, and Atlantis resort guests enter free for every night of their stay.

Which water park is free on your birthday?

We found no standard free birthday ticket at the main parks. Atlantis The Palm offers free waterpark access within its birthday packages for resort guests. Confirm the terms with the park before you travel.

Are children free at Dubai water parks?

Sometimes. LEGOLAND Water Park gives free entry to children under 3. Other parks charge by height, so a toddler may still need a ticket. Dreamland’s lowest tier covers children between 80 and 120 cm.

Can I get a refund if the weather turns bad?

Usually not. Aquaventure and Dreamland both state that tickets are non-refundable, and Dreamland includes closures for weather or technical failure. Check the forecast and pick a flexible date.
