Green Planet Dubai Tickets
A living tropical rainforest inside a dome — sloths, pythons, toucans, and 3,000 species of wonder.
Green Planet Dubai
Step through the doors of The Green Planet and the heat, noise, and concrete of the city vanish instantly. Inside, you're immersed in a four-storey living rainforest — humid, green, and alive with 3,000+ plants and animals — a Central American biodome recreated in perfect detail in the middle of Dubai's City Walk district.
The sloths are the stars — you'll find them draped languidly through the canopy, blinking slowly at visitors below. Fruit bats swoop freely overhead. Toco toucans display their extraordinary beaks from nearby branches. Emerald tree boas coil silently in the undergrowth. Every level of the spiralling walkway reveals new species, new ecosystems, and new encounters.

Is Green Planet Dubai Worth It?
At AED 85 for general admission, The Green Planet Dubai offers one of the most genuinely unique experiences in the city. There is nowhere else in the Middle East where you can walk through a living, four-storey rainforest ecosystem — complete with freely roaming bats, sloths hanging overhead, and vibrantly coloured birds darting past. For families with children, nature enthusiasts, and school groups, it delivers outstanding educational value.
If you want to extend the nature theme, pair it with Dubai Butterfly Garden for a full day of wildlife immersion — though they are on opposite sides of the city, both are easily reachable by taxi. The animal encounter add-ons (sloth feeding, python handling) are well worth the extra cost and must be booked in advance.
What to Expect at Green Planet Dubai
The Green Planet is built around a single towering artificial tree at its centre — a 25-metre-tall structure that supports four distinct levels of rainforest habitat, from the dark, root-tangled forest floor to the open, light-filled canopy. Over 3,000 individual animals and plants inhabit the dome, including two-toed sloths, scarlet macaws, free-flying fruit bats, tree frogs, and arapaima fish in floor-level pools.
Guided tours are available and recommended for the most educational experience — knowledgeable staff introduce you to individual animals and explain their ecological roles. Self-guided visits work well too, following the spiralling walkway upward through each biome layer. Expect to spend 1.5 to 2 hours in the dome. The environment is climate-controlled to replicate rainforest humidity, so light, breathable clothing is recommended. The Dubai Butterfly Garden and Green Planet make an excellent two-attraction nature day if you enjoy immersive wildlife experiences.

Before you book
Best time and realistic duration
Weekday mornings are usually quieter and can suit animal-focused families. It is climate-controlled, so it works in summer; check feeding or encounter times when booking. Allow 1.5–2.5 hours for the biodome's levels, talks and photo stops.
Transport and parking
The biodome is in City Walk. Taxi and ride-hailing are straightforward; City Walk has paid parking, with the exact access route depending on current signage.
Accessibility and family fit
Lifts connect the multi-level biodome and the main route is family-friendly. Humidity, narrow viewing areas and live animals may be challenging for some sensory or mobility needs—ask ahead.
Restrictions to check
Do not touch or feed animals outside supervised encounters. Flash, tripods, large bags and outside food may be restricted; encounters have their own age and booking rules.
